Reviews We had heard very good things about this stylish new restaurant in Harrow-on-the-Hill, so made the trek up north to see what the fuss was all about. First impressions were good, a smart upmarket restaurant, half empty at 9pm on a Wednesday.
First surprise was the selection of papadums we got at the start of the meal. Two type of papadums and what can only be described as deep fried Bobby's pasta twirl snacks (available un-deep fried from all branches of Costcutters at 20p a bag).
The starter section of the menu had some interesting additions, including something that was described as 'a bellyful' - this turned out to be a disappointingly small lump of something or other.
The main courses include a good selection of fish, chicken and meat dishes, my Chicken Jalfrezi being amongst the best I have had, well up with Punjab standards. Others reported that their main courses were disappointing.
All in all well worth the journey if you like Jalfrezi. Added by Tony Love, Sunday 20 May 2001 14:25
